Happy
Valentine's!
Cupid
is out this month inspiring all the romance writers in our chapter. Be
sure to soak in all the ‘love’ energy in the air and write more romance!
Shannon Canard has a great line-up of speakers this year so be sure to
mark your calendars and you too can take advantage of all the great
programs NTRWA is offering. Geralyn Dawson, a tremendous talent, will be
the guest speaker this month. If you've never heard her speak, you're in
for a treat. While you are marking your calendar, remember the author roundtable
critique is planned for June. If you've never attended an author
roundtable, prepare to turn in a few of your pages at least one month
early (May meeting) for a critique by one of our local published romance
authors. This has always been well attended and a whole lot of fun - so
start working on your pages now.
National raffle tickets go on sale this month. The winner gets their
registration fee reimbursed to the National conference in Reno. This is a great deal at $5
for six chances. These raffle tickets will be on sale each month with the
final drawing planned for the May meeting. If the conference gets close
to selling out, we may have the drawing early so don't wait to buy your
tickets.
Suzanne Moore will be selling some of the older conference tapes at this
month’s meeting. Not only is this a steal at 2 for $1, but there are some
wonderful tapes just waiting to go home with you.
Mary Ann Gruhlke is always looking for articles for the newsletter, why
not yours?
If you haven't sent in your membership renewal, forms will be available
at the meeting. You won't want to miss any of the great programs or other
offerings our members will enjoy in 2005.
