JANUARY 2006
Sherry Davis
officiated her first NT meeting as president.
Karen Whiddon presented a
workshop on "plodding through" the middle and how to keep writing.
Have you ever gotten bogged down in the middle of a story,
wanting to reach that book-in-a-year goal, but couldn't? Or sat staring
at your computer screen, wanting to write, but unable to figure out
where to go, what to do? When on deadline, romance author Karen faces
this problem occasionally, and has figured out several tried and true
methods to increase productivity and finish that dratted book.
Karen
Whiddon has sold 17 books in 8 years, all of them written except
two. She's written for Kensington Precious Gems, Leisure Lovespell,
Silhouette Intimate Moments and Silhouette Signature. She's written
contemporary, historical, and paranormal romances, belonged to numerous
critique groups, and tries to write every day.
